Welcome to the International Geography Bee!

The International Geography Bee is a worldwide geography quiz competition for primary and secondary school students. IGB qualifying exams, regional tournaments, as well as the IGB European, Asian, Canadian, and USA Championships are held annually. Participation in IGB can also qualify students for the biennial International Geography Championships, a week-long celebration of geography with numerous quiz tournaments, other geography competitions, field trips and more. The most recent International Geography Championships was held in Vienna, Austria in Summer 2024. The International Geography Championships will next be held in Summer 2026 as it is held every two years.
